Good professional service
Received a very good service from Lisa and Anne throughout, professional at all times. The sale took longer to go through than I thought. Sometimes I would have to chase up updates and a weekly update would have helped ease any anxieties.

Great service
The buying and selling process was all new to us as have lived at current address 32 years, so found it all a little daunting. But Lisa and Anne were both on hand answering my many queries. They made the process as smooth as possible and cannot thank Lisa and her team enough for the hard work they put into getting our sale through before 1st April when stamp duty started. Would thoroughly recommend Lisa and team, brilliant job.

Right to buy a house

Easy process and OK communication
We purchased a property remotely as we live overseas and could not visit the office. To begin with the process as a little slower than hoped, and the communication from the team could have been more detailed to help us understand the steps and what the content of each documents, rather than just a emailed saying 'see attached'. However, as the purchase got closer and lisa became more involved, the communication definitely improved and we are grateful that they ensured the purchase went through without delays.

Excellent firm, smooth transaction
I recently sold a property in London. Lisa and the team were excellent from start to finish. Very competitively priced. I was kept up to date and my queries were dealt with promptly. The online portal is excellent for uploading documents and providing information. I highly recommend using them.

House sale / purchase
The sale of my property proceeded without problems and I therefore conclude that some of the issues experienced with my purchase were due to the seller’s solicitor.
Documents concerning my purchase were received in a very random and piecemeal fashion. The title deed was only received with the contracts. Given the restrictive covenants contained in the document, I believe that its existence should have been referenced earlier.
Whilst the Conveyancing Assistant was very responsive and helpful, I repeatedly asked questions about right of access, boundaries and so on. I did not want my vendor’s opinion or understanding of the matter. This was a legal query and there was the expectation that the matter would have been dealt with by the solicitor herself. Certainly I would have expected the existence of the title deed to be referenced or referred to in answer to these queries. Instead, I was placed in an unenviable position, when limitations were revealed at the 11th hour.
I would also have expected the solicitor to obtain the documents referred to in the mining survey. Apart from asking the vendor, no attempt was made to do so.
I felt that the solicitor should be more hands on. Her role seemed to consist of summarising documents at key points rather than offering a personal service.
The conveyer belt approach is fine but I engaged the firm to provide legal assistance not just to undertake the requisite admin.
Because of the nature of attachment appearing disjointedly at the bottom of e mails, it would be helpful if a list of the attachments could be included at the start of every e mail. This would encourage the scrolling required on occasions to discover them.
