Polite Friendly and Patient
Adam Urwin was friendly, professional and informative from the start. As this was our first time selling a property we were not very clued up. It was also not a normal situation as well due to old fashioned legalities but Adam answered our questions, was patient with us and didn't make us feel silly when asking or needing things explained. When we first bought our property we used EDC and it was a good experience and that is why we went with them again this time, first tiem deal with Adam & Alisha and they were both great to deal with.

Excellent Service and Support Throughout the Whole Process.
We are so pleased we decided to use EDC Lord for the sale of our family home. Adam Urwin was very approachable and gave us confidence in the whole process. Making it far less stressful than we had anticipated. He kept us fully informed and quickly responded to any questions we had.

Overpriced and lacking experience
Terrible. Slow and made you feel like you should be grateful that you’re their client. Adam Urwin clearly lacked experience in what was a relatively straightforward matter, with his boss Sara Sinker displaying awful client management. What’s more, they decided to overcharge for hours spent on the project despite it being them that created the delays! Avoid like the plague.

Exceptional Support and Service from Start to Finish
My husband and I cannot thank Adam Urwin enough for all his help and support throughout both the sale of our old home and the purchase of our new one. As our solicitor, Adam made the entire process feel smooth, well organised and far less stressful than we expected.
From the beginning, Adam was kind, compassionate and always professional. He communicated with us clearly at every stage, explained everything in a way that made sense and never made us feel like any question was too small or silly. His reassurance and attentiveness meant the world to us.
He went above and beyond. Even before the official searches began, Adam proactively looked into anything that might come up to make sure everything would move along as quickly as possible. That level of preparation made such a difference.
Even when we didn’t expect a reply straight away, Adam would often get back to us within hours. He was always happy to take a phone call and was incredibly responsive, despite how busy we know he must be.
We’ve never worked with any other solicitor and honestly, we wouldn’t want to. Adam has set the bar incredibly high. We would recommend him to absolutely anyone looking to sell or buy a home, whether it’s their forever home or one of many.

I was very impressed with Adam, who was at each interaction friendly, polite and professional. He did his best to keep things moving, even when the other side were slow to respond. House sale and purchase
Adam Urwin has been excellent throughout what became (due to the other parties in the chain) a very challenging and niggly process taking longer than we'd have preferred. Adam's professionalism and calming demeanour helped us get through what became a reasonably stressful process in the end. We have used EDC Lord previously for both another house sale and probate and would highly recommend them as a firm, and Adam as an individual. Many thanks EDC!

Excellent and Personable
I cannot speak highly enough of Adam. I found him to be extremely helpful, polite and always available to talk things through. He kept me fully updated through my sale and purchase, and I feel like he really went above and beyond. Selling and purchasing a home is extremely daunting, but
I felt very safe having Adam advocate for me, he made it practically stress free. I would definitely recommend Adam and EDC Lord and would happily use them in the future.

Conveyancing simplified
