I cannot speak highly enough of the exceptional dedication, commitment and expertise that Claire brought to my case as she fought tirelessly to prevent the relocation of my two boys. From our very first consultation, Claire demonstrated an acute understanding of the delicate balance between the legal framework and the very human concerns and upset that I was experiencing. Even though the relocation is going in favour of my ex wife, Claire’s unwavering commitment and professionalism throughout the process were nothing short of extraordinary.
Claire immersed herself in every aspect of my situation. She took the time to truly listen to my fears about the uprooting of my sons from their school, friends, and support networks. Her empathy immediately put me at ease. She asked thoughtful questions about the boys’ routines, their relationships with both parents, and the practical challenges of maintaining stability and contact if the relocation was to happen.

Between hearings and communications with my ex-wife's legal team, she checked in regularly by phone and email, to update me on developments and to offer perspective on next steps. In the end, while the decision did not align with our hopes, I remain profoundly grateful to Claire. She provided me with clarity, confidence, and the absolute assurance that every possible avenue had been explored on behalf of my boys. And even if we delayed the inevitable, it bought me an additional 18 months of precious time and memories with my boys, which I see as a gift provided for by Claire, of which I will be forever indebted.
I wholeheartedly and without a single second of doubt would recommend Claire, her blend of strategic insight, compassionate support, and unshakeable professionalism makes her an outstanding solicitor and person of support in even the most difficult of circumstances.

Divorce proceedings
I contacted a number of firms and Slater-Heelis where the only firm to contact me directly and promptly, which I took as a good sign first off. They were patient, courteous and gave good advice from the start, explained everything well, which I needed at the time. They made the whole process flow well for me which was great as my mental health was not optimal at the time. I heartily recommend them for anyone needing to go through this, we handled everything online so no need for travelling or appearances. I will happily use them again for other matters if any should arise.

Highly recommended service and Claire was amazing.
I needed a solicitor to help deal with an ex partner and negotiate house sale. Although this was a stressful time and difficult Claire was friendly and supportive and I knew that I could call or pop in to the office to get updates and advice. I would highly recommend the whole team.

Highly recommend
What should have been a very straightforward divorce turned into a two year long emotional rollercoaster due to the escalating post separation abuse and my ex's narcissistic personality disorder. Claire was proactive and assertive and also extremely knowledgeable in dealing with the many unexpected obstacles and the continual lack of cooperation from the other party.
