I took a risk and bought a house at auction. It was a modern method auction and so we had 56 day timescale from my successful bid to completion. I was recommended by close family the solicitors Milners (Close Thornton in Darlington). I was in contact with Sue Alexander and her team who kept me informed throughout. I found the team friendly and courteous and I was impressed that Sue asked the Seller questions I hadn't thought of. The house sale was completed within the required 56 days.
