Professional, but no respect for our budget.
Lauren, Kirsty, and the rest of the team worked my case to find out if there were any wrongdoings regarding my grandma's will and her executor, which we were (are) very suspicious of. I stated that our budget wasn't very high and to let us know if we had accrued any extra fees outside of the instructions I gave them, but they recently told me "If you would like Lauren to review and advise you accordingly, her fee estimate would be £800 to £1,100 plus VAT to review and provide an email of advice", which seemed very tactical considering what they knew about our budget.
To conclude, our case wasn't resolved as I cannot justify paying £1100 to someone to send me an email, just because they spent five years studying in a classroom and have their name on a certificate.
As much as they were professional and worked our case, we wouldn't recommend this firm purely because we were likely to spend more on legal costs than what we would have achieved financially if we were successful.
