We decided to use Jordans for our house purchase (we were first time buyers) and with the sellers also using Jordans we thought there would be good communication. At the start things were going well but as time went on communication was inadequate and our solictor left the company mid purchase so we were left in limbo not knowing who we were communicating with! As we were nearly at the final stages of the purchase we were told to send our deposit over and had a completion date, to then be told that we will not be completing that day and that our deposit will be put in a holding account, and if the purchase did not complete in 28 days the money would get sent back to us and we would lose our mortgage deal , which as first time buyers was very stressful, this happened on two occasions. In the end our case got escalated and we did complete. I would never use Jordans in the future and I would not recommend as they caused us a lot of stress through their errors which should never have happened in the first place.

Dear Kayleigh, It is a real shame that you feel you had to give us a 1-star review without speaking to us first. The completion date was agreed for the 4th of November, but the top of the chain were not cooperating very well, which unfortunately meant the date got pushed back. Between Rikki and one of our colleagues, we managed to get this done for you before your mortgage expired, despite the top of the chain not helping and you were made aware that it was the top of the chain causing the issues. Regarding the deposit, we request that from clients so we can exchange contracts and complete, without the money we can’t do either. I have spoken to my colleagues who would have been in contact with you and none of them said they spoke to you about sending the money back to you if it did not complete in 28 days. Rikki did advise you that completion needed to happen before the expiry of the mortgage offer. I can say with certainty that it wasn’t Jordans Solicitors errors that caused the delays, it was the top of the chain not communicating with my colleagues that sadly caused those delays. The nature of your review is also surprising as you sent an email to Rikki after completion thanking him for getting it through for you, and you have also answered 'Yes' to the questions 'Were you satisfied with the outcome of your matter?' and 'Would you recommend this firm to somebody else?' Jordan's are an Excellent firm of Solicitors.

Excellent communications
I have been using Jordon’s solicitors over these passed 5yrs

Excellent service all the time
I have used Jordans for over 7years now with Rikki being our primary solicitor handling a fair number of matters during this time. In our experience we have had excellent service with Rikki exhibiting a high level of attention to details and vast experience with conveyancing.
Our most recent transaction proved to be quite complicated with the chain above pulling several suprises. Rikki offered a lot of support and it was evident he always was on our side. Would recommend Jordans Solicitors (Rikki) and will definitely be returning on the next opportunity.
