Straightforward, clear advice
I was very taken with Emma’s direct, but reassuring, approach. She answered my questions frankly and ensured that I understood the situation and my options.
The practice itself is highly organised and efficient, whilst also being open and friendly.

I can’t really express enough how thankful I am to Emma Kirkaldie-Clay at Bellwether Solicitors, for all of her hard work through my difficult divorce.
For six years, Emma guided and supported me through this often emotional and confusing process. Throughout this stressful time, Emma was professional, reliable and efficient and kept things running smoothly. When things became too difficult and emotional at times for me, Emma was kind and understanding and went above and beyond what was expected. I believe my strength to see this process through and receive the fair outcome I did, was down to Emma’s knowledge, tenacity and emotional support.
Emma kept me informed every step of the way and helped explain things clearly when I didn’t understand something or was confused - this even extended into other areas of the divorce and house sale.

Where do we begin there is so much praise we could offer it would take forever !
Bellwethers are and excellent firm of Solicitors and we highly recommend them. We were so lucky to have come across Emma during what has been one of the most stressful periods of our lives. She is not only an expert in her field but one of the most compassionate, understanding people we have met. Speaking to her was like confiding in a friend.
Emma was contactable all of the time even out of office hours and her reassurance and advice was what got us through a very traumatic experience to the best result we could ever wish for. We truly believe it if wasn't for Emma we would not be where we are now and cannot thank her enough. Additionally the barrister recommended by Bellwethers was excellent and again without her we would not be where we are now. Emma thank you so much, whilst we hope we will not go through anything like this again we certainly know where we will come if we do.

A first class service!
Emma was recommended to me by a friend and from the outset her friendly, efficient and professional manner put me at ease at a very anxious and challenging time in my life.
Throughout every stage of the process Emma used her extensive knowledge and expertise to explain the various stages in the divorce process. She was also very quick to respond to any query l had and her support throughout went beyond just professional advice.
She made a very difficult situation a lot more bearable, and l got a much better settlement than l thought was possible.
