Divorce
Mark gave wise counsel during a 3 year divorce process which never became acrimonious due in large part to his patience and humour . I recommend Mark and his colleagues highly

Experienced, decisive and easy to deal with
Mark is very good at what he does, experienced in his field and able to give clear advice when dealing with complicated issues and scenarios. Clearly a divorce process is challenging, but I was always able to have honest and straight conversations with Mark, in a positive way which enabled progression of my case quickly and efficiently.
I had a couple of complicated issues to resolve which were dealt with competently resulting in clear drafting for all parties. I felt Mark understood my goals, and worked quickly to help keep moving things forward to a conclusion.
As much as I hope I never need him again...... I would recommend Mark's services.

Pragmatic, realistic and safe!
Mark was a real guide to me through my divorce. An emotional time for me, Mark was able to be empathetic while still remaining pragmatic and steer me in the right direction. I felt safe in Mark’s hands and always felt that he had my best interests at heart. Mark having the experience as a judge also provides a difference lens and broader perspective on what is and isn’t feasible. I really felt that Mark was on my side and trusted his judgement. Professional and reliable
Mark helped me get through the final stages of a divorce. With his help I was able to get a swift and fair financial resolution and got the consent order over the line within a few months. I would highly recommend slater heelis.

Not many people you come across in your life have been ‘called’ to do the work they do. Mark is one of those people who are just that. Mark and his team helped me close a chapter in my life that had been prolonged for over 12 years.
