John has more than 40 years’ experience of advising on matrimonial and family law issues gained in private practice in North London and Suffolk. John is a Resolution accredited family law specialist in private children law and complex financial remedies. He is a trained Resolution collaborative family lawyer and an all issues family mediator. John can help with divorce, separation, civil partnership dissolution, relationship breakdown and has extensive experience dealing with financial and property disputes as well as applications for child arrangements orders under the Children Act 1989. John deals with cases where domestic abuse is alleged and can advise on injunction applications. He is able to manage cases at all levels of the Family Court. John has been involved in several appeals to the Court of Appeal, his reported cases include: Newlon Housing Trust v Alsulaimen (1998) 4 AER 1; Re G (children) (residence order) (2005) EWCA Civ 1283; Re S (A child) (Child Arrangements Order) (2015) EWCA Civ 689
