Darren is a Director and Head of the firm’s Selby office having joined the firm in April 1997. Darren’s practice areas are private client work and residential conveyancing. After attending Tadcaster Grammar School Darren obtained a law degree at Nottingham Trent University before studying at the College of Law in York for a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice. Darren qualified as a solicitor in July 1999. As well as considerable residential conveyancing experience acquired over a period of twenty years, Darren acts for property developers in connection with estate set up work and plot sales. Darren’s private client work covers the making of Wills, associated tax planning and Lasting Powers of Attorney. He also has significant experience in probate and the administration of estates having supported many clients, especially with more complex estate matters, during his twenty years in law.
