Danielle and Melanie were excellent throughout our recent conveyancing purchase, selling a leasehold property and buying a freehold. They were both extremely responsive, helpful and gave sound and clear advice, explaining the process very clearly without too much legalese, clearly communicating what was needed from us at each stage, and bundling documents together to make it easy for us to keep our own records. Their expertise in leasehold conveyancing was particularly welcome as it is a very complex landscape at the moment.
They were proactive in chasing both our buyer's solicitors and the management company of our flat to keep things moving - they dealt with a few curveballs along the way, particularly with the management company, calmly and proactively, and gave us plenty of reassurance.
I would highly recommend them for their efficiency, but also for their excellent communication throughout - they were both lovely to deal with and really took a lot of the stress out of the process for us.

Excellent experience

Excellent service (Conveyancing) from first contact, through to completion.
Melanie and Danielle were professional, efficient and proactive in progressing the case, pursuing those acting for other parties, responding swiftly to any queries, and communicating continuously & helpfully throughout.

Property Purchase
Friendly and knowledgeable, efficient and professional staff, good coverage when our lead contact was off, happy overall with their conveyancing service provided, we completed slightly ahead of schedule, in challenging circumstances given the behaviour of the seller and their solicitors. Would recommend.

Quick and professional service

Great Communication and professional service received
I had a follow up query on completion regarding an amount held on possible arrears we may have owed on service charges in our previous property. We did not owe any money and Melanie from Thackray Williams contacted our buyers solicitors and we received the money in a matter of days. Would highly recommend Thackray Williams for their great communication and professional service.

Made the conveyancing process as easy as possible
I found the support and assistance throughout the sale process, fast and easy to understand. They were responsive and more than happy to provide answers to any queries or concerns I had along the way. Claudia and Melanie did a great job looking after us throughout. I would have no issues recommending them.
