Matt spent the first 10 years of his career working for a large high-end retail organisation, eventually progressing into a senior leadership role. After deciding that a change in direction was necessary, he obtained a 1st class LLB law degree from the University of Wolverhampton before going on to complete his LPC with the same institution, achieving a distinction. He qualified as a solicitor in July 2022, with an expertise in family law. He also has significant pre-qualification experience handling a varied caseload of family matters. Matt joined the team at George Green in July 2025, having spent 18 months working for a regional firm in the East Midlands. He has also worked in a Legal 500 rated family team in the West Midlands, and other prominent high street practices in Staffordshire and Shropshire.
