False Memory Syndrome
There isn’t any preparation for an arrest on historical offences (of the most depraved kind) made worse by the complainant being a family member. I was immediately into a life-changing event and needed a Solicitor. After hearing about ‘false memory syndrome’, I found a company with awareness of this phenomenon and engaged their services. For over two years I received the best support possible with regular updates on the investigation and informative discussions on False Memory. The support I received from Clare Shard and Jessica Wilson was so invaluable that once they set up their own company Eventum Legal I went with them.
They continued to consult with the Police kept me up to date on proceedings and most importantly believed in my innocence. Over two years on from my original arrest, after a thorough investigation, the Police finally decided to ‘take no further action’. They are now taking steps to have the therapist at the heart of the allegations struck off for their failings which allowed these false memories to circulate.
I could not be more grateful to Eventum Legal for their support during this trying time for myself and my family.

Me and my ex partner separated and access to our son was involved, as a result of this she made some horrible acusasions about me. This meant I was asked to attend the police station for an interview, I contacted Jessica and Clair for help. Claire was the one I spoke to in the first instance Jessica and Claire where absolutely amazing from the first phone call and all the way through the process. Jessica and Claie where always at the other end of the phone to answer any of my questions and provide support when needed. Jessica attended the police station with me for the interview and was a calming presence all the way through after they interview they co timued to chase the police up requestimging updates. During this time they where in regular contact with me and updating me on the progress. With Jessica and Clairs support the police decided on no further action. I can't thank both Jessica and Claire enough I would highly recommend them to anyone who is in need.

If you are struggling with what to do, or in a difficult situation then Jessica and Claire are 100% the people to go to! They were both amazing from start to finish, Claire will talk you through things and make you realise that things aren’t as bad as first thought and there are people there to help you. Very helpful, supportive who works hard for you
From the outset Jessica and Claire understood my situation and were supportive but realistic. They did a great job of explaining how the process worked and where they could help. Once engaged they were diligent and tenacious in following up despite the lack of response from the police. Highly recommended.

I highly recommend this company!
I cannot recommend Jessica Wilson highly enough! From start to finish, she has demonstrated a level of professionalism and dedication that is truly exceptional! Her communication skills are outstanding and she explained every step of the process in clear, straightforward terms and made sure I was fully informed and comfortable with each decision.
Unfortunately I initially instructed the wrong solicitor and with hindsight I should have carried out more research. I have learnt a valuable lesson and am now confident that I have the right representation in place!
