Shajeda deals with all aspects of Family law both public and private children law proceedings. Shajeda qualified as a Solicitor in 2005 and became an accredited member of the Law Society's Children Panel in February 2012. In public law children proceedings, Shajeda represents parents, children and guardians in childcare proceedings initiated by the Local Authority for interim care/ interim supervision orders and final care/ supervision orders. Shajeda deals with emergency protection orders and secure accommodation orders.   In private law children proceedings, Shajeda represents parents and extended family members in child arrangement proceedings including contact and whom the child is to live with as well as specific issues including changing names, location, schools and other specific issues as well as prohibited steps order proceedings. In addition, Shajeda represents clients under injunction applications on non-molestation and occupation orders under the Family Law Act.   Shajeda has over 18 year experience of in case preparation and Advocacy.  Shajeda is a member of the Law Society’s children panel, member of Resolution & Association of Lawyers for children (ALC). Shajeda is fluent in Bengali, Urdu and conversational Gujarati.
