Sophie’s passion for Criminal Law started when she completed a work experience placement at Nottingham Magistrates Court. From there she dedicated her career development to becoming a solicitor in Crime by pursuing a Master’s Degree at the University of Law. Sophie has a real appetite for solving client’s problems and defending their rights. Her work on our Crown Court litigation cases involves careful analysis and interpretation of the facts while applying them to the often complex legal principles which will determine whether an offence has or has not been committed. Where there is doubt, Sophie’s job is to ensure that the case is well prepared, ready for the advocate to present the defence case to the Jury in the most detailed and effective way.
