I was a little concerned at the minimum contact I had from them but this was only due to the fact that they had everything in hand and only contacted me when they couldn't resolve the situation or any the questions themselves. They would reply promptly to calls and emails, something which has been extremely slow with previous solicitors in other firms..

We have used Blacks to buy a second property and they were able to make up any delays caused by the seller to ensure we completed before the mortgage offer expired.

My only frustration is with the company itself — charging £150 to review another solicitor's independent legal advice feels like taking advantage of customers. It's actually cheaper to obtain the independent legal advice elsewhere, and I don't believe clients should be charged for Blacks solicitors to simply check it over. Honestly, I think this is a disappointing and unfair practice.

My husband and I cannot express enough how grateful we are at using Anne and Samantha for our recent house sale and purchase.
