Matthew joined George Green as a trainee in January 2021, and qualified as a solicitor in January 2023 joining the firm's Corporate Service department. Matthew graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2019, achieving a 2:1 in his law degree. He then completed the Legal Practice Course combined with a master’s in Legal Practice at Birmingham City University, graduating with a Distinction. Matthew has a particular interest in corporate and commercial matters which has seen him write a dissertation on the status of Limited Liability Partnerships within UK company law as part of his master’s programme. Outside of work, Matthew is a keen golfer, playing off a single-figure handicap.
