After completing a BA (Hons) degree in Consumer Protection, Nicola worked as a Weights and Measures Inspector. Eventually the title changed to Trading Standards Officer and Nicola became a Trading Standards Specialist in anti-counterfeiting. She won an award from the ACG (Anti-Counterfeiting Group) for the enforcement work she conducted in the Cheetham Hill area around Strangeways. Nicola also won an award from FACT (Federation against Copyright Theft) for the discovering a warehouse where the counterfeit goods were being produced After leaving this role she became a Private Investigator for a few a year’s specialising in anti-counterfeiting. Nicola decided to change her career and then started working in Wills and probate and has come to us and is based in our Middleton office. Outside of work Nicola was President of the Women’s Institute for Stretford, she makes chocolate and fudge and has done a few workshops. She also plays darts for a local team and does a lot of Voluntary work to fill her time. She also love the outdoors.

Friendly considerate service
Nicola was at all times extremely friendly and approachable and dealt superbly with my anxieties and partial deafness. She could not have been more accommodating. She was additionally very patient and answered all my questions clearly with thorough explanations.

Excellent service
I can't speak highly enough to say how thoroughly impressed I was with the excellent service at Russell and Russell.
From walking through the door and greeted by the very helpful receptionist, followed by the solicitor, Nicola Bray, who I immediately felt confident with I knew I was in good hands.

Getting a Will
Something I had put off for ages however the experience at Russell and Russell was very good. At the outset, professional, empathetic around my concerns and given clear and concise advice. The outcome was peace of mind knowing my wishes were listened to, respected and recorded so that my son would find everything easy to understand. A delightful experience, so pleased I walked through the door.

Making a Will
From speaking to reception with Ruth to discussing my requirements of your services with Nicky I felt very comfortable. I didn't have to wait long, all my needs were met within 7 to 10 days. I wasn't rushed through and Nicky was very thorough in making sure I understood all we discussed, gave me time and my paperwork there and then. I met Ruth, Nicky and Jessica and was very impressed. My experience at Russell and Russell
