Emily graduated with her Bachelor of Laws in 2022 before commencing the Solicitor’s Qualifying Examination route in 2023. During her time at university, Emily gained experience in criminal law whilst taking part in pro bono work. Emily began her period of solicitor training at another North East firm where she gained experience in the family law and the wills and probate departments. During this time Emily realised her passion for this area of law, and gained experience in Will drafting, powers of attorney, administration of estates, and court of protection matters. Emily is keen to develop her knowledge and skills further. Emily is training to be a Solicitor at Samuel Phillips Law and is due to qualify this year. Outside of work Emily enjoys spending time swimming and walking with her young family, and she is also an avid reader. Emily is also a keen traveller and can often be found searching for holidays and exploring new places.
