I had a complicated case with the father of my son who lives abroad. Beth was extremely supportive and so was her team. I was always able to get in touch with her or the team when needed. She assisted me for 6 months during this ridiculous court case where the father of my son refused to speak to me directly. Because he was not fluent in English, Beth sought a bilingual mediator. At anytime that she could support and said she would look after something she did. The whole process was tiring and infuriating but I knew I could count on Beth for support and she got me through it. Thank you

I had used Samuel Philips Law firm once before and was very impressed by the service I received. So, it was a no brainer to use them for the above work. I was treated with respect, with professionalism whilst in a friendly manner. They were very clear about the process required within my case. They provided options to consider, explanations/ answers to my queries and advice. They kept in regular contact and I was consuited at each step. With their expertise my case was resolved quickly and effectively. When asked, in the future, who my solicitor is I will always say Samuel Phillips every time.

We used Samuel Phillips for the conveyancing of our house, and communication was below what we expected. After a few weeks without any email, I called them for them to tell me they didn't receive anything. The contact email address provided on the quote was apparently the head of department address and we should've sent documents to another one (that we had to guess ourselves?).

After a bumpy start, I have to say it was pretty efficient (hence why 3 stars and not 1), but still had to call to get any emails or any updates.

It's a real shame the house sale fell through: they were getting faster and faster, and better at sending emails. So efficient indeed that we received the (not so cheap for what was done) bill in exactly 7 minutes!

I wouldn't recommend if you are unfamiliar with the process of buying a house or if you don't have time to call them to get things moving; but I can't honestly say they were useless either.

Just sold a property which turned into a challenge with numerous problems with the buyers, their mortgage and the Lease of the building, but Samuel Phillips managed to still complete the sale. Would use again and recommend.
