Laura has over 13 years’ experience in residential conveyancing, and qualified in 2019. She deals with all aspects of residential conveyancing, including sales, purchases, remortgages and transfer of equity, and has a particular interest in shared ownership and retirement developments. Laura was promoted from Senior Associate to Partner in April 2022. She leads the Residential Conveyancing team in our Bedminster office but regularly travels to other offices as required.

We were really happy that we chose Barcan + Kirby to deal with our property sale and purchase. Their communication throughout the process was excellent. I never felt like I was chasing them, and they let us know clearly what they needed from us at every step. Everything went smoothly and they made a stressful experience of buying and selling a house with two young children as stress-free as it possible could be. We will definitely use this firm again.

Used Barcan+Kirby North street to help buy my first home and they were great! Robyn Eamer and Laura Roberts were so helpful and on the ball the whole time and always answered every silly question I had! It made a really stressful process that little bit easier and I’m so grateful to them both. Would definitely recommend.

Laura and Emma cox have been brilliant during our house sale. We have had lots of various issues with third parties however Emma and Laura were on hand to help and were so pro active in getting us to completion. Without them we would not have achieved what we needed.

This was the smoothest house purchase we have ever done and it is all thanks to Laura and her team at Barcan+Kirby! Laura and robyn were my and my partners conveyancing solicitors for a house purchase.
We were due to complete 30/01/25 however due to barclays banking IT outage we got the dreaded news with the van packed and ready to go that we were unable to complete. This was no fault of barcan and kirby or robyns and laura. Naturally we were upset as we had to spend a few days in our old home with minimal clothing and supplies whilst our stuff was in a van. However they were both kind understanding and had a extremely responsive and professional attitude. Post move they built a case for us and we were refunded all the money we lost due to barclays banking failure the tenacity they showed to achieve this was outstanding and went the extra mile.
They are a credit to the firm and I hope they receive formal recognition from senior staff for their professionalism.
