I would not recommend this firm based on my recent experience. I arranged a 25-minute call on behalf of my 84-year-old mother to explore whether legal planning was needed regarding care home fees. I believed this to be an exploratory discussion, not a formal consultation, but an invoice for £318 was issued. I offered to pay 50% as a goodwill gesture, acknowledging there may have been a misunderstanding. This was rejected by client relationship partner Joe Davies, who insisted on full payment or threatened debt recovery. His approach was, in my view, aggressive and lacked any acknowledgment of the circumstances. I ultimately paid the invoice to avoid further stress on my mother, but found the handling of the situation disappointing and inflexible. Based on this experience, I would urge others to seek clarity in advance about what may be chargeable and to be cautious in their dealings with this firm.
