I used Serjeant & Son for the purchase of my first property. Overall I was pretty pleased with the service but if I had to give a point to improve on would be slightly better explanations of some of the documents for a first-time buyer, and I didn't recieve much of a heads up on the exact date of exchange of contracts, so had to rush a bit on the day. Other than that though, they were very patient with me when I had any queries and answered them quickly and seemed to deal well with the estate agents. The documentation provided was also of pretty good quality.

Although the sale eventually fell through the legal process was very well managed and detailed. Claire was professional and persistent in making sure the process moved along even when the sale fell through. There were four offers that did not proceed and after a year of trying I actually gave up but this was nothing to do with Serjeants. Leasehold sales can be quite complex and it was good to have the reassurance of someone with the depth of knowledge needed to navigate the issues and questions that arose.

Overall we're happy with the experience.
It was a long process due to buyers pulling out but successfully completed in the end. The re-issuing for forms (when changing buyers) wasn't checked thoroughly and some instructions were not reflected in the new forms and had to be corrected.
Isabel was pleasant to deal with.

Just leaving a review from behalf of Haart Estate Agents from Cambridge for Claire. Honestly we had a difficult case between us , but Claire had been a stellar support pillar for our mutual clients so much that I wanted to leave a good word in for her.
