Top notch legal advice
I had Ellen Cooper handling my house purchase, which involved a lot of challenging and stressful last minute changes, and pressure from all sides to rush to beat the increase in stamp duty coming on 1 April 2025. Ellen was the picture of calm and professionalism and pleasant to work with in spite of this. She deserves huge thanks on behalf of the entire chain and all their advisers for her speed and never missing a beat. Big, big thanks from CB in 2025!

I worked with axis professional for my house sale in march this year. Ellen was professional and efficient, explained everything we needed to know and provided reassuring updates regularly. I would recommend anyone to use this firm. What I found most helpful was their calm approach helped me to stay calm and feel that everything was in hand and under control, really put my mind at ease. The staff clearly have excellent knowledge and take the time to explain in terms I could understand.

We are so impressed with the service received from Axis: Professional, friendly, no jargon, and incredibly prompt.
At all times we felt informed, and totally confident in the way the case was being handled. As this was a considerable debt (£22k) we were worried that we might not know what was happening, but Axis kept us aware of everything that was going on, and all of our options.
We were given realistic, commercially sensible advice coupled with incredibly prompt communication and replies to emails, which enabled us to make decisions about what steps we wanted to take with confidence.

We directed Axis (Key 2 Conveyancing) to act as our solicitors after putting an offer in on our new home. We were assigned Sara and from the very start she has been absolutely brilliant.
Due to the sellers chain we were on a tight timeframe, but thanks to the quick and professional work by Sara we were in our new home in time for Christmas (roughly 2 months from when we directed them to act for us).
I can honestly say I recommend them to anyone looking for a conveyancing solicitor.

Axis Professional was founded by Richard Antipas & Michael Devlin, like-minded individuals who don’t like the way most professional firms work (or don’t work) for their clients. So, bringing their expertise and experience in legal and commercial disciplines together this business was formed to be different. Being flexible, we encourage our people to work from home or wherever and whenever works for them with an emphasis on objectives and outcomes not hours tied to a desk. Our people are free to manage their time in a way that benefits them and their clients which means we are not forced to fit into fixed times of the day. With most meetings conducted online we can see clients quicker and provide solutions sooner. Our emphasis is on delivering quality legal services and not on geography which is why we are not on the high street and we haven’t invested in unnecessarily large offices for our clients to pay for and how we can act for clients anywhere in England & Wales.
