Brilliant Service from the Newbuilds Team

Where do i even start!! After an absolute horrifying experience with our buyers of our old houses solicitors, we would not be sat in our lovely new home if it wasn’t for the expertise and brilliant service from the Newbuild team (especially Kelly Hind and Bethany Scott), they updated me daily, sometimes multiple times a day, were always able to ring if i needed something explaining in a simpler way, they absolutely chased and pushed to get us over the line in time to avoid stamp duty, they understood our urgency and dealt with everything in a timely manner.

i used Hewitt's in Stockton to resolve my divorce. in 4 month of being there customer ive had 3 different solicitors because they all keep leaving the frim. ive been asked the same questions over and over again and been charged for the communications each time. i was told when i instructed them that £200 a month would cover the fees roughly and in 4 months they have had over £2000 and are now demanding another £500 on top off the £200 monthly payments. ive verbally in person raised a complaint and in writing and a week later i am now having to chase that complaint up as ive not had a single piece off communication from them. ive been waiting 4 weeks for them to phone me and arrange a meeting to discuss financial discloser and not had a thing back. ive asked for this to be rectified several times and nothing

at the minuet i really cant recommend them to anyone

Massive Thank You to Emma and Angela

This is the third time I've used Hewitt's and after the exception service received the previous times I felt sure I'd be in good hands with a upcoming house sale and purchase of a new property - and I wasn't wrong, in fact it would be fair to say my high expectations of Hewitt's were even exceeded!

Thanks to the hard work by Emma and her secretary Angela they made what is often a stressful time an absolute breeze on the conveyancing side and we genuinely couldn't of asked for it to run any smoother, always on hand to answer questions, get detailed updates and generally keep us informed every step of the way if there was anything Angela was unable to help with I could always get to speak with Emma directly.
After everything was completed even my mortgage broker said to me this has been one of the easiest solicitors she has ever delt with which I think puts into context just how exceptional the service we received was.
Thank you both for everything

A smart, welcoming premises. The receptionist was very understanding and skilled at keeping us at our ease under trying circumstances. The solicitor who subsequently attended to us did so in a highly professional manner and was clearly very knowledgeable in her field.
