I cannot speak highly enough of Clark Willis. Alister and Rachael responded quickly and competently. They were warm and reassuring. As a first time buyer, I found them to be thorough, trustworthy and gave me absolute confidence they knew what they were talking about. If one of them was on leave, you always received a response from someone else. Alister was on leave towards the end of the process and others picked up this work, causing no delay.

I will also note that my house purchase was during the stamp duty changes and this naturally could have caused a delay. The changes didn’t affect my sale and I certainly didn’t feel pushed to the back of the queue for the properties trying to avoid the charges. I still received communication about progress throughout despite what must have been a busy time for them.

We completed in 6 weeks which is great (and unheard of). I would recommend them time and time again.

Alistair has been extremely helpful in dealing with the sale of our property. Emails were always answered promptly and Alister would always ring to sort out any issues. He is friendly and approachable and I felt he really cared about the outcome!

Sophie was my conveyancer in the sale and purchase of a house. Sophie communicated in a clear way and was also timely in responses. I would also get emails from Sophie with updates on what stage she was which meant I never had to chase her for anything and was generally up to speed. Sophie handled things smoothly, the only problems were from my buyer who used an online solicitor and they were very infective and needed to be nudged along. The buyer solicitor told us the day before an agreed completion date that they could not meet this date which was a nightmare for me as I had to rearrange movers and get further time off work last minute. Sophie communicated quickly and clearly during the time. We agreed a further completion date a week later, however, the buyers solicitor was still very ineffective and still needed to be nudged along by Sophie and also the estate agents otherwise we would not have met the next agreed completion date. Sophie handled all the problems from the buyers solicitor very well and managed the whole process smoothly. I would highly recommend Sophie and have already told friends and family to use Sophie for their house transactions. If I need to buy or sell a house again then I am calling Sophie to be my representative.
