Deceased relative's house sale conveyancing done under considerable time pressure, flawlessly, with good communication from Debbie and Karen, and with very reasonable fees. We have used Dibbens several times over the years for POA application, wills, general advice and now conveyancing. We've always been very happy with the service.

My father died about 25 years ago and mum asked Dibbens to help with settling his will and also re-drafting hers. When she passed away in December, and as an executor of her will, I also chose to use Dibbens to help with obtaining probate and managing her will. I could not have been happier with the service and will definitely use them again.

We have reviewed and updated our wills on five occasions over the years, all with different solicitors, and none of the others have been as straightforward or as easy to deal with. No fuss, no complications, just good advice in plain language and fast efficient execution - all at a very sensible price. I would recommend Victoria King to anyone needing to make or review their will.

We contacted Dibbens Solicitors to advise and arrange a Lasting Power of Attorney for us. The Solicitor explained the procedure and costs involved very clearly and this helped to make the legal implications easy to understand.
We would have no hesitation in recommending Dibbens Solicitors.

Dibbens are my local law firm. Over the past twenty or so years they have handled most of my property transactions. I have experience of other firms in the area and so can compare service levels, competence and value. I am always to speak to the conveyancer, I am a demanding client insisting on short timescales. I can recognise unnecessary 'billable hours padding' and will not tolerate it.
So I award five stars.

Very disappointed with the poor service received.
We were told after 6 month, after sending all documents requested, that they aren’t able to complete the purchase of the property.
We requested to know the reason for withdrawal, but never received an answer, just a big invoice!
We changed solicitor and completed the purchase of the property within two month.
I would not recommend them to anyone, avoid!!

I employed a (so-called!) builder to build a Dormer on my bunglaow. Unfortunately, his work seriously failed Building Regs standards. We were then advised that the Dormer would require a huge amount of additional structural work costing £1000s. However, the builder refused to claim responsibility. We therefore felt the need to seek legal advice. We approached Dibbens on their advice that we could claim compensation from the Builder's Insurance Co. With that in mind we trusted her that the builder's Insurance Company would cover our legal costs and also pay for all, or most of the addtional work. HOWEVER, the Insurance Co. REFUSED to pay absolutley anything in compensation because they claimed that the builder's work was due to his incompetence and a clause in the Builder's policy stipulated that they would not pay out for work caused by incompetence. My greivance and complaint therefore focuses on why the solicitor didn't find out at the very beginning of our litigaiton what was and what was not covered in the Builder's Insurance Policy. Had she done that, then I may not have pursued the litigation as it was obvious to anyone that the builder himself was at fault. Consequently, I did not feel that the solicitor had a good understanding of my needs and I felt that my expenditure of over £4000 did not achieve the results I had been hoping for. To rub 'salt into the wound' even when I wrote the odd letter of complaint, I was informed that if I continued to complain she would start to charge me for having to read my letters - unbelievable!!
