Aimee Postings has handled the conveyancing for our recent house purchase. She has been super efficient and friendly throughout the process. Nothing was too much trouble and she was thorough in explaining the process at each step. We can't recommend Aimee and Waldron's Solicitors highly enough.

Record completion on house move!

Belinda and team were awesome at Waldrons - they managed to get our house sale and purchase through in record time (less than 12 weeks) before the stamp duty increase. Belinda was professional and fast to respond to all queries. 10/10

My interactions with Antoinette Nasilele have been exactly what I’d hoped for when I asked Waldron’s to represent myself.
I was listened too, understood and then advised accordingly.
This was done in a timely manner which I was more than happy with.
When I say timely, not at 100mph but quickly enough to feel everything had been considered.

After that, invoices was regular enough to ensure I knew where money was being spent which is always nice to now.

Around, good and clear service.

Don’t bother

Very unprofessional, to start with very old fashioned and had to physically take passport in for id checks, so time off work, sent correspondence to wrong address causing a delay of a month to the sale of my house, had to be chased all the time, didn’t send queries off for over 3 weeks, couldn’t get in touch, if you want your house move to be smooth don’t even bother with Waldrons

I phoned up to enquire about some specific legal services. The receptionist / admin person clearly didnt understand what i was asking and was very abrupt. She wouldnt put me through to anyone and said she would ask for me. She came back and said no, I said she hadnt understood what I was asking but she repeatedly refused me services with a 'no'. I said I wanted to ask about x and could she put me through to someone about thse services and she just hung up on me. So I guess that was a no ! So rude and unnecessary in a customer facing role. I called back and managed to get through to someone else. However I was advised that just to even consider if they could provide me with legal services for a family matter would involve an hours consultation chargable at £150. I am not paying that just to discuss what services they could provide to me (at further significant hourly rates). By this point I had enough and rang a different solicitors firm who spoke to me straight off to discuss the outline of my case and how they could represent me ....... and I was not charged for that initial converation. My advice is to not go to Waldrons based on my experience.

I had an absolutely horrendous experience with this firm—completely unprofessional from start to finish. Instead of receiving my own property deeds, I was mistakenly sent documents belonging to someone else, including their last will and testament. My actual deeds were never provided.

I dealt with Joseph Norton, who has been consistently ignorant throughout the process. No attempt was made to rectify their mistake or ensure proper handling of sensitive documents. This level of incompetence is unacceptable, and I strongly advise others to avoid using their services.

Long term client of Blount Hemmings before the merger. I have got to say, I am so disappointed in this firm. No accountability, no support and no integrity. I’d steer well away from Waldrons and consider other local options.

About this branch

Description

The firm was founded in Brierley Hill in 1867 by William Waldron. He practiced in the High Street from offices by the old police station. It was the year that the US purchased Alaska from Russia, Wilbur Wright was born and Nobel patented dynamite. Our firm is older than Marks & Spencer, Sainsbury’s and the BBC, and is one of the longest established law firms in the country.
