I was very pleased with the service provided by Equilaw who acted as my solicitor for an Equity Release scheme. They were professional, engaged and generally very helpful. Their paperwork & website were efficient and well organised. They were hampered by the lender’s solicitor’s insistence on an actual copy of a Lasting Power of Attorney instead of a certified copy as required by both the lender and the Land Registry. I did feel they could have been more robust in challenging the lender’s solicitors on this matter as their insistence left me out of pocket on postal charges and charges for additional time from my general solicitor.

Beverley Argent represented me during my Equity Release process and I found her to be conscientious and helpful throughout. She was always available to update me or explain developments and was a good communicator.
