Help + Guidance with my will, with Adam Hampson

Having never dealt with a solicitor before, I didn't quite know what to expect, but I remembered that my parents, back in the 1980s used Tayntons When they bought a house and made their wills.

From the moment I walked in to the very modern offices, the girls at the reception desk were kind and friendly, Adam Hampson my solicitor was so helpful and helped me through it all. Highly recommended.

Friendly and efficient service at a reasonable cost

I used Tayntons to write out my will on the recommendation of my mother. The service provided was excellent from an initial appointment on march 12th to signing my will at the end of march. I was given advice on how to spend the money and was always asked whether I had any questions. this was all at a reasonable cost

I initially contacted Tayntons for legal assistance with a probate matter. After a delay in their response and a brief telephone conversation, I was advised to attend an initial consultation at their office.

Despite the emotional difficulty of the situation, I arranged the meeting, which was confirmed in writing along with a list of documents I needed to bring. I took time away from my business, incurred additional costs, and attended the meeting—only to be informed upon arrival that they had made an error and failed to book the appointment.

I don't usually leave negative reviews, but I feel it's important to highlight the level of incompetence I experienced. If a law firm can't manage basic administrative tasks, it raises serious concerns about their ability to handle more complex legal matters.

Unfortunately, based on this experience, I cannot recommend Tayntons and would urge others to consider alternative firms before proceeding.

Extremely disappointing, would strongly recommend avoiding.
Taytons reached out to me when I listed my property, as had used them to buy it. They gave me a quote which I accepted, and then put the price up half way through the work, when I have no time to search else where.
There was no proactive communication, rely on me to need to call every couple of weeks to ask for updates. The whole process took months more than I suspected, and while I can't know that was just on Taytons (As they blamed the other parties), they left me with zero confidence in their skills.

We've used Tayntons for two property purchases now. Would highly recommend. Caroline helped us for our latest purchase and was very efficient and proactive, and absolutely amazing at handling real estate 'stakeholders'. Definitely someone you want on your team.
