Driving under the influence of alcohol.

As this was my first offence and my first time being in any kind of trouble, I was nervous and anxious about finding the right solicitor and the right person to help, thankfully I made the right choice with Carl and Millars solicitors.
From the initial phonecall right through to the court date, Carl and his team were on hand to help with any questions I had, any advice I needed and basically just to listen.
For me, the most important thing throughout the whole process was that Carl never gave me false hope, he dealt only in facts and never set unrealistic expectations which I really appreciated. He was brilliant in court and whilst the outcome wasn’t great, it was still at the bottom end of the scale that I fell in.

I failed a breath test and was arrested for drinking whilst in charge of a vehicle. I felt I had mitigating circumstances and contacted Millers for representation. This was an extremely pleasant experience, and I knew straight away I would be in good hands being represented by Carl.

Carl and his team discussed my defence with the CPS before my Plea hearing - and all charges were dropped before I was due to enter a plea!! This was all thanks to the professionalism, expertise and knowledge that was ‘brought to the table’ by team Millers that day.

Again, many thanks guys – it was a pleasure being under your guidance and would recommend you to anyone who may find themselves in an unfortunate situation like I did.

1st time in court, speeding offence

I received a court summons due to driving a commercial vehicle (transit custom) over the limit. I hadn't been to court before so was very apprehensive and unaware of all the potential outcomes.
I found Millars Solicitors and sent them a message, they replied and we started to discuss options.
I was given a solicitor to represent me in court who went through all my details and personal circumstances prior to the time slot in court. She put me at ease and represented my case very professionally.

I would definitely recommend Millars Solicitors to anyone in a similar situation.

12 speeding points - potential disqualification

When I got letter from police stating prosecution and potential ban, I felt really isolated as driving essential for work.
I found miller's solicitors on line with another firm. Before agreeing to a contract with them - they told me to go to court and evidence of postage. It was because of this and other reviews I asked for their help.
I can only say they were really supportive - when I felt anxious they answered all my queries.
The barrister on the day was just lovely - reassuring and supportive. Assessing the feel of the room before my hearing. I really couldn't have done it without her.
I was given my points and a small fine. No ban. Hadxpreparedxmyself for worse. The releif was enourmous!
Yes, it feels expensive - but worth every penny. However not an experience I wish to repeat!,
