My brother died unexpectedly in October 2022 in Colchester, UK. I am my brother’s full-blooded sister, and I live in Australia. My brother and I have three half-sisters. Our next nearest surviving relatives are our paternal cousins. Our family was very disorganised with dealing with our brother’s demise. I knew we needed to call in some help, as it is crazy to try and administer a deceased estate across the globe. My youngest half-sister, Bree, helped me to find you. We approached many solicitors in and around Colchester first, but none of them even returned our calls. Finally, Bree looked closer to where she lives. And you were very responsive. That was a huge tick in your favour! Two things clinched it for me. Firstly, it was the owls on your web-site. (I collect owls!) And secondly - your surname, Sumaiya, is the same surname, and spelling, as a very dear friend of mine. Coincidence I know, but there you have it! I feel our whole family lucked out finding you. It has been such a relief to have your professionalism guiding us through the process, and taking care of everything so well. But also explaining the process as we went along. That meant a lot to me. It also helped the flow of communications in our family. So really I can’t thank you enough. The rest is all on file and in our email correspondence, which was always clear concise and friendly. Not to mention astoundingly prompt. Thank you!
