I was assigned to Katrina’s team when purchasing my right to buy property from my local council. Katrina’s team worked tirelessly throughout the process to complete all legal aspects. All documents were sent to me in a timely fashion, and I believe they genuinely work to their clients best interests. The communication was fine and I never had to chase them on any aspect of my purchase.
I would recommend TQ law for any property purchase, and I would definitely recommend Katrina and her team to anybody buying a right to buy property.

Further to my email confirming termination of my intention to buy the property, I just wanted to send you all my personal thanks. Even though we could not see the purchase through to fruition, I wanted to mention how incredibly professional you remained throughout. Being caught in the middle of buyers, sellers, estate agents, and legal representation can no doubt be stressful, but I really appreciated your efforts to stay impartial and proactive at each opportunity. You calmed me when I was anxious, and actioned items when I needed results. It's these simple human requirements that are often overlooked and under appreciated. My experience with this law firm while trying to acquire conveyancing services for my flat at Media City UK has been nothing short of a complete disaster.
I instructed them to act on my behalf on February 28th 2023, On June 21st, out of the blue, I received an email from TQ Law, informing me that they had just realised the building was over 5 stories high, and they were unable to represent me.
Unfortunately it turns out TQ Law aren't able to provide conveyancing services on any buildings that are over 5 stories.
I find it utterly unacceptable that it took them four months to realise such a crucial detail, wasting my precious time and delaying the entire process.
What's even more infuriating is that there was no offer of a refund or any form of compensation for the colossal amount of time and effort I invested in this debacle. It's as if they couldn't care less about their mistakes and the impact it had on their clients. Instead I was sent an email that essentially told me 'Tough luck'.
TQ Law seem to prioritise taking on cases without actually understanding whats involved. If they aren't able to provide conveyancing services for buildings over 5 stories - they should make that clear from the outset.
My experience with TQ Law has left me feeling frustrated, disillusioned, and financially drained.

We were blesses to be looked after by Shaunna and Jade and they were amazing
It's easy to give positive reviews when everything has been smooth - or as smooth as house purchases can ever be!
What I am struck by is the professional way our purchase was managed when the going got really tough We were unlucky to have our first purchase fail when the seller discontinued.After a short period of sulking(by me) we teamed up to try again with another property.This was seamless in terms of managing by TQ and off we went again.Logging in to the portal was simple and we received regular updates in addition to this.Any queries were answered quickly and patiently explained.
The stamp duty deadline was our completion date and with very little time before close of play the banking system couldn't confirm our payment.That is when you find out how valuable professionals are and to Shaunna, Jade and everyone at TQ LAW who helped us through that day, we send our heartfelt thanks.
All of this for a fixed fee that was much lower than we were recommended by others means I have no hesitation in recommending them and would use them again in a heartbeat - now it's working normally after last week!
They brought another level to conveyancing and even the "hold " music was soothing.
Fabulous service and I hope their efforts are recognised and rewarded.

TQ Law were hundreds of pounds cheaper than other law firms compared to but still had great reviews. I'm so glad i chose them for my purchase and Team AC , who handled my purchase, were amazing. This was my first purchase and it's very nerve-wracking and i had lots of questions. Abi, Molly and everyone else were great with communication and email responses were consistent and regular. Thanks again everyone. I'll certainly come back and use you if i ever sell in the future :)

Carol and her team were excellent, responsive and professional throughout a very protracted chain purchase.
The only fly in the ointment was around exchange of contracts, COT was submitted before we exchanged contracts and the team advised us to wait until we heard back from the lender before exchanging.
Given the tight turnaround before stamp duty deadline the best option for us was to just exchange straightaway and allow COT to be confirmed between exchange and completion. Indeed all other parties in our chain went with this option on the advice of their solicitors and were very unhappy that we were waiting as they needed to begin their own submittal ahead of the deadline.
We in the end went ahead with exchange prior to hearing back about confirmation of COT, on advice of external parties. Which turned out to be the right move, to allow the other parties to progress with their COT.
I understand it's difficult to offer advice in this scenario but we felt like we were not well advised by the solicitor given our situation, and it was at the most crucial point of the process.
Other than this they were exceptional and I would recommend.
