I am happy to recommend Katrina Greenwell for her work on administering the estate of my late uncle. The letters and paperwork, and the final accounts, were clear and easy to understand. The matter was dealt with promptly and efficiently, and given the complicated paperwork involved, the costs were reasonable.

It has been a pleasure working with Moss Solicitors and in particular Jo Showan over a number of projects. Jo has always given us timely, expert, commercial and, above all, pragmatic advice. She is adept at balancing risk against complication and proposing practical solutions to problems. She is also great at suggesting and executing negotiating tactics where approporiate. I had a timely, smooth, and very satisfactory experience, with Katrina Greenwell taking my instructions concerning the matter of making my new will.
I felt able to discuss some quite personal reasons for the changes I had incorporated, and I found Katrina to be extremely understanding and supportive throughout the process.
I would recommend this Firm, and Katrina in particular, to anyone wishing to instruct solicitors in the matter of making their wills.

I initially met with Yolanda Ride to discuss my aunts estate and get answers to some queries. This was to enable me to obtain probate and deal with tax, distributions etc. However I quickly decided she was just the person to handle it for me - she was very experienced, matter of fact and reassuring. She dealt with everything brilliantly, keeping me informed all the way and resolving any issues quickly. I am so pleased I chose to use her - worth every penny (costs were within initial estimates too).

We returned to Moss Solicitors having previously been involved with them in a Power of Attorney preparation for a family member. We wanted to update our wills as our circumstances had moved on, since making our previous ones several years ago. In the drawing up of the new wills we were carefully listened to and any questions were clearly answered. All aspects were explained thoroughly to us, so we had a clear understanding of the legal terms used. The new wills were satisfactorily completed to our requirements in a timely and professional manner.

Let's just say our experience with Moss has been very mixed. We initially spoke to Megan who was very helpful then we got transferred to a Locum Solicitor. A couple of weeks later and numerous emails to be told I would get a reply and never did, I finally spoke to them. Had to explain everything again, got told they wouldn't be able to help with expediting request for transfer of equity when we were told to do it by a mortgage advisor. It even says on the government website that you can do it and how. I wasn't impressed. Finally had a meeting to sign forms and asked about expediting request again, to be told, I will have to find out as I have never heard of this. Bearing in mind, they knew our situation and when I spoke to them before our meeting, they asked for me to bring evidence for this. A day later, we were transferred back to Megan, she informed us there was a form that needed to be sign as it wasn't given to us in the meeting. She sorted out the expediting request and finally got the transfer of equity sorted for us. She was so helpful, was in constant contact with us with updates or anything else that needed to be done. So the 5 stars is for Megan.

Having used Moss previously they were my first point of call for conveyancing on a new house purchase.
From the outset they were communicative and flexible and made accommodations for a slightly unusual purchase that online conveyancing companies had flat refused.
Once conveyancing began proper it Michelle was communicative and incredibly thorough, exactly what you want for such a large and potentially stressful event.
I highly recommend Moss.
