Prompt action with redundancy settlement.

I had need of a solicitor to guide me through my redundancy settlement. The secretary was very efficient in processing my request and passing everything through to the solicitor (Lesley Purveur). Lesley was on leave but agreed to process the documentation and advice despite this for which I was grateful. Within a couple of days, the whole matter was processed and legally binding. Very professionally handled by both the secretary and solicitor and I would be happy to recommend them.

Redundancy

I have had the worst week of my life being made redundant, I contacted Lesley for advice regarding a settlement. She took the case on straight away, she kept in contact with me via phonecalls/emails consistently throughout the week, she handled everything with the company, she made me feel at ease with everything I didn’t understand, she was absolutely fantastic & 100% would recommend her! Challenging Property Sales

I am not a big fan of reviews in a world where we are bombarded to review everything. However I have to make an exception here. I have used Larken & Co for a number of years to handle various personal and business related legal matters and always received excellent service so I expected the same during the recent sales of a couple of properties. I was not disappointed and have to say Vanessa Pride went above and beyond to ensure the sale was completed. It should have been so simple but for various reasons seemingly generated by the other party was far more complicated than it needed to be. Thanks to Vanessa’s tenacity, professionalism and excellent communication skills we got over the line.

Bad Debt

We have been dealing with Larken and Co since our business was formed back in 2001 in particular with Lesley Purveur who we have found to be very professional in every way possible. Our latest dealings over a two- and half-year period dealing with a bad debt for the construction of a private tennis court was very challenging, both the defendant and defendant solicitors were totally unscrupulous and no respect for the law. Faced with delays in every aspect of the case Lesley kept the pressure on them at all times, her advice was first class and even when we faced with difficulties was always positive with the outcome. Sometimes totally baffling and frustrated by the unprofessionalism of the defendants solicitors Lesley would come down hard and put them in their place. We are fully appreciative of her service and would recommend her to anyone seeking legal advice in a similar position, Thank you Lesley.

Amy had been responsible for drafting our Mother’s Will. During what was an emotional and sometimes difficult time, Amy was always thoroughly professional and committed. It was reassuring to know, that despite the miles, she was on the end of an email or telephone call. She was efficient and thorough, dealt with any challenges that presented and delivered a far higher level of service than expected. Dealing with matters following the death of a parent can be daunting and overwhelming. We found having someone to ease the burden immensely valuable and I cannot recommend Amy highly enough.

Excellent Solicitor !!

We hired Lesley Purveur to help us with a very tricky/dishonest tenant living in our property. It was an extremely stressful, draining time which continued for over two years.Throughout the process, Lesley listened to our wishes and worries and was extremely helpful and reassuring. Her communication was excellent and always prompt. She managed to sort all the correct paperwork( which was a huge bundle to the judge at the county court!) in preparation for the court case and dealt with a very difficult ex husband and a very apathetic council housing officer. The tenant was finally evicted by the local court bailiff’s with Lesley’s watchful eye .We are so grateful for Lesley’s hard work
and sheer professionalism and highly recommend her service.
