I couldn't have got through this difficult time without Kelly
Kelly was recommended to me by a friend who thought she could help me with my divorce settlement and she was right. It helped to have the support of Kelly and her team at Richard Nelson during this difficult period, it dragged on much longer than either of us anticipated, but we reached the finish line eventually, thank you.

From the very first call, Chloe offered a calm, steady presence at a time when I felt shocked, hurt, and overwhelmed. I’d been let go suddenly and unfairly from a job I’d put everything into — and Chloe met me with empathy, clarity, and practical expertise.
She explained the legal options clearly, never rushed me, and always made space for my questions, emotions, and priorities. I appreciated her responsiveness, how quickly she acted on tight deadlines, and her thoughtful strategy around how best to protect my interests while remaining proportionate.

When you are being prosecuted you need to hire someone who knows the law well enough to represent you so that you don't get hit even harder that you deserve.
It happens all the time, the (throwing the book at you method). The book hurts.
The police and CPS like to escalate charges.
If you don't have a representative who knows what might happen.
I had a solicitor from another firm before, same case. His representation was discontinued and I hired a lady from Richard Nelson LLP.
She made sure the law remained honest, I was given a consequence that matched my offence not a hugely escalated sentence that would have been unfair.
She knows things like what sentencing guidelines the court are empowered with and made a point to the court that they accepted which otherwise would have left me in a position where I would no doubt have been prosecuted again in future.
Eve Paterson skillfully negotiated the safe zone between there should be a consequence and escalated charges to make it sound worse than it was.
In my very humble opinion,if you are going into a courtroom without her good luck.
But if I had a choice I would use Richard Nelson.
Eve if possible.

Rita has been my partners solicitor since 2016 - her work is outstanding and she has always delivered the best possible outcome with positive feedback
We have always been able to communicate with no problems and understand the process each and every time

Mark was my solicitor and he was diligent, patient, and compassionate in handling my case. I was nervous about the process but he put me at ease as he was friendly and approachable but still professional.

Victoria Rees was great in her diligence in helping me to provide what was needed for the process when all my instincts kept moving towards much too personal reflections. She bore with me when I would think of something which I thought was important and immediately include it in an email. This made her life more difficult in processing all the information I was giving her. She pushed me to be more remorseful in my reflections when I would hold back because of shame. Thank you Victoria for the time and energy you took in knocking me into shape.
