I have had an ongoing claim with Admiral for 2.5 years. I've just had spinal surgery.
I've never known such poor or uncaring service and I used to work in the big call centres that handle these claims many years ago. Its the polar opposite of Admiral insurance customer service and they are doing the insurance company a dis-service.
I'm almost three years now and nothing at all moved on since May last year when I told them their "expert" was wrong and I had 3 slipped discs and not just whiplash after finally getting an MRI on NHS then paying privately to see a neurosurgeon as I was about to lose my job if I didn't get a diagnosis.
Still waiting on an updated report from their new neurosurgeon expert who I finally got a appointment with in Jan. Apparently there's nothing they can do until the new report arrives. Which took them 6 months to get an appointment for!
I'm now off sick following surgery for 6 weeks with no pay ... do they care? .. no.
They gave £250 compensation for poor service and delays last year and assured me things would change. Yeah right.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Admiral Law has been an absolute nightmare to deal with from start to finish. My claim has dragged on for nearly three years due to their incompetence, delays, and lack of communication. I have had to chase them constantly; otherwise, I wouldn't hear from them for weeks.
They failed to gather crucial evidence in a timely manner, ignored obvious steps that should have been taken (such as contacting my mechanic sooner), and repeatedly asked me for information they should have obtained themselves. Their so-called "updates" were vague and unhelpful, and I was continuously finding new issues to complain about.
When I finally took my complaint to the Legal Ombudsman, it became clear that Admiral Law had done everything they could to avoid accountability. In fact, they even attempted to bribe me into not escalating my complaint. If you’re in a similar situation, do not wait for them to do their job properly. Take your complaint to the Ombudsman straight away!
This firm does not have their clients’ best interests at heart. If you are unfortunate enough to have them handling your case, act quickly, push for answers, and escalate your complaint before they cause you further frustration. I wouldn’t recommend them to my worst enemy.

I recently got through to the complaint team as the service has been very bad - nobody ever available, never spoken to case handler, having to chase very often to get anything done. I was given an "action plan" which seemed very legitimate and was happy - however the plan never came to fruition. I've had to chase again and again, my case handler is constantly "out of office" and there is never anyone from "my team" available. I have now been told that one of my medical reports was wrong, and that I have to give further evidence - evidence that I have already previously given. There was a correction that was supposed to be asked for last week... calling up today, that has not been actioned. I can't get through to the complaints team anymore, my emails are ignored - apparently I can't be transferred to them, management or my team. I have to chase regularly for updates otherwise nobody does anything. The staff are very polite when you speak to them, but they don't actually help unless you call them to chase them - it feels unfair that I'm the one doing all the chasing, and putting a lot of time into making this work when they often ignore me.

I’ve been led on for almost a year. PTSD is getting worse daily as they refuse to settle, despite being told weekly that they’ll do it within the week. My partners report got written wrong and now we’re both being ignored. At one point my phone number wouldn’t go through and I’d get left on hold or hung up on when I gave my case reference. They don’t care.

Over 3 years for and still no further forward! Extremely frustrating for something that isn't your fault.
Don't reply to messages no matter how many you send them, impossible to get hold of and I've had around 10 case handlers. Still no sign of the case being finalised, if I knew the companies service was this poor I would never have agreed to use them however you are given the original spiel of how straight forward it is, which is a lie!

Coming up to 5 years and no further forward with my claim for a road accident where I was hit head on .
Don’t reply to messages had 10 different case handlers .
They certainly don’t seem to be fighting for there clients .
Now reported to ombudsman as this certainly can’t carry on .

EXTREMELY poor communication- expect 2-3 months for any sort of reply from them (and even then, the replies are not helpful!). My case has been open for nearly 3 years and we’ve had absolutely zero progress or updates from these guys.

Had an accident in March 2021 - I was the non fault driver. Admiral Law have taken me round the houses and simply don’t respond. Useless system and company.
