Sale of a former rental property

Just a quick few words about Roy Mason. We went initially to get an idea of a price for the conveyancing work in order to sell our former rental property. It quickly became apparent that Roy knew his stuff and it didn’t take us long to decide to use him. So glad we did. Great service from start to finish. We knew pretty much exactly what to expect and when. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

County Durham purchase

We were renters in north Derbyshire but purchasing a home in County Durham. With no knowledge of solicitors in either area, we called on the AthiLaw office in our town. We were immediately put at ease after meeting our eventual solicitor. Roy was professional and timely with responses to our queries. He was straight-forward in relating details, costs, and requirements. The seller’s solicitor was not always forthcoming, and Roy was quick to ask for additional information when necessary. We are extremely happy with his work and our overall experience.

Outstanding personal service

We were looking for a solicitor to work with us on the sale of a property. Having previously had poor experiences with conveyancing solicitors, we wanted someone we could meet in person and who would be willing and able to discuss matters in detail.
Roy at Athi Law came highly recommended and we have been delighted with his service. His depth of knowledge and sensible, pragmatic approach made the sale a much easier and less stressful process than we have endured in the past.

We had signed with Taylor & Emmet whiles selling our house but we're getting nowhere, it was getting really frustrating not getting a response to emails or any news. We had no option but to Try a different solicitors, I passed Roy's office while on a walk through Dronfield and thought I would check thier reviews online, the reviews were great so I nipped in the next day. He was friendly and knowledgeable and put us at ease from the start, we got more information in the 20 mins we were sat with him than we got over 3 weeks with Taylor & Emmet. He was good at keeping us informed and worked very hard to sort out the issues with the lease hold company who only seem to answer thier phones once a month for 30 mins 😞. Overall we were very pleased with the service and would use him again without hesitation 😀 keep up the good work!
