I met Charlotte in June 2024 - I explained my situation and she talked me through next steps of how to navigate a distressing situation as seamlessly as possible.
I followed her advice, and filed for divorce in July 2024. We implemented a cleanbreak agreement to enable my husband to receive part payment and move out of the house in October 2024. After the 20 week cooling off period we were in a position to filed for the conditional order which was approved and we then submitted the finanical order wihich was approved. This enabled me to transfer the deeds for the house and pay the remaining payment and apply for final order. By March 2025 I was legally divorced.
