While I understand that legal matters can be complex and outcomes never guaranteed, the real issue here was not the substance of the case but how it was handled. Communication was inconsistent, timelines slipped without explanation, and key information I reasonably expected as a client including clarity around process, responsibilities, and likely outcomes was either vague, omitted, or poorly conveyed.
The most concerning aspect was the absence of clear, written scope definitions at the outset. Unless you insist in writing on precise deliverables, timelines, and accountability at every step, you risk a deeply frustrating and, in our case, costly experience.
If you are considering instructing this firm, I strongly advise that you confirm every detail of your arrangement in writing especially the timescales, the nature and limits of the advice being offered, and who exactly is managing your matter. Assume nothing. Confirm everything. Live longer go elsewhere.
