Everything was handled efficiently. Had some setbacks with my buyer and had to pull out which ment I had double the bills to pay when I got another buyer which delayed things drastically , but Lisa made this process easier for us without much drama .

What should have been a straightforward flat sale - for cash and no chain - turned out to have a great many twists and turns with a last minute bid to renegotiate and a delayed exchange which kept us on tenterhooks. Lisa was a steady and measured hand throughout and it all came good in the end without any change to the original agreement. Despite all being conducted remotely, Lisa's communication was always good, responsive and reactive and we were kept well informed throughout.

Chris Thomson and his team did a very professional job with our house sale and subsequent house purchase. A number of obstacles had to be overcome along the way with two sets of buyers withdrawing from the sale and two prospective purchases falling through. We were kept well informed throughout and received sound advice at all times. Costs were kept to a minimum in respect of the failed transactions and in-line with the amounts quoted for the transactions that proceeded to completion. We would have no hesitation in using McKeag & Co again. Many thanks.

McKeag & Co. did a good job on all aspects. My only slight problem at the beginning was that it took them nearly 3 weeks to 'process my information' at the beginning which meant a little bit of a delay. This could have been due to staffing problems I really don't know. Otherwise Sarah Stanley and all at McKeag did a great job for me and finalised everything promptly during the process of enquiries etc. I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending them to anyone who needs conveyancing work done.

Chris and his team at McKeag and Co. dealt with the selling and buying for our recent move. We anticipated things might take a bit longer due to Covid, but the conveyancing team were proactive and quick with both their work on our behalf and their replies to our questions throughout. For competence, approachability, sensible advice and price we couldn't fault them. A five star team!

I write this review as a director of an estate agency and I can safely say we have a lot of experience with solicitor firms. Selling the property is the easy bit - sales progression is another matter and you need a trusted and quality firm in your corner. It's not about referral fees for us. We pride our own business in offering the very best service and in order to do that our 'go to' solicitor firm is Mckeags. Chris Thomson is highly knowledgeable and knows his stuff in all aspects of the field. We are based in Great Park and it has its fair share of conveyancing difficulties due to the nature of how things are set up when the estate was built plus being an ongoing development - when we sell a property here - we tell our clients you need Mckeags on the job (road adoption indemnities, sections agreement requests, management company info, deeds of variation, ancient rent charges - it all gets sorted out and when you use Chris for your sale your paperwork is rock solid). Solicitors do get very busy and there will be times when they are working through files however we can safely say that when needs must - we get answers and solutions very quickly. They have worked consistently through the covid pandemic where others have fallen apart. Sometimes getting a sale to go through can take longer than you hope however there are many influencing factors. We've never found Mckeags to be anything other than a necessity. Choose local and the fees are very reasonable.

Good solicitor's especially Janet Foster, but some things are just out of their hands like the insurance companies taking their time to pay out!, especially when you're in pain and struggling....
