Ms Ada Chu and her help in our case
We were very impressed with Ms Chu and her professional approach to our case, which had been started by another solicitor who retired before they were able to complete the case. This was a difficult case to prove / win, but with her guidance and advice, we were awarded the costs of the rectification of the damage caused, and almost all of the costs, which I understand is not very common.

Expert Advice - Wonderful and Reassuring
Witan Solicitors gave me excellent advice on an issue involving a bank. They set up a meeting immediately after I contacted them and were not interested in profiting from my desperate situation - they only served to try and help. My case has received national attention and I could have gone anywhere with my case but chose these solicitors. I am very grateful for the support and direction given to me and my family. Called today regarding a sensitive issue namely the withholding of my fathers ashes by a non family member. Initial call with Jasia was ok, listened to the details and suggested a letter be sent. She quoted £150 for the letter. When the email arrived for authorisation the cost had jumped to £900 inc VAT. For a single letter!!!
My wife phoned back immediately, receptionist was rude and then Jasia accused me of lying saying her hourly rate was more than that. We are going through a very emotional time atm and to say there was no empathy is an understatement

I contacted Xiao Pan at Witan Solicitors regarding a CCJ. Xiao was amazing, listening to the history, giving me advise and guidance and really understanding my issue. I was informed to contact the court again to chase why the CCJ had been set aside as no information at all, for which I did on a few occasions to no avail. Fortunately the court had made an admin error so I will continue the process through them for the time being but I would highly recommend Xiao and would not hesitate to contact them again should the need arise.
