Overall, it was a generally acceptable service, although at times a little on the slow side. But once the information was gathered, the correspondence by letter, email and phone improved a lot. They also helped (financially) at one point, to grant a little money in advance, which helped with the costs I had to make. Overall, quite satisfied.

If you're looking for Aldridge Brownlee to set up an Enduring Power of Attorney to ease the burden and ensure local support for a family member don't go anywhere near this firm. They will tell you how professional they are and it's no trouble, but over the course of almost eighteen months I finally got the EPO set up, but they couldn't even get a bank account set up over the course of 4 months. They didn't even manage it by the time the person whom it was supposed to benefit passed away. I provided them with £500 to open the account and upon advising them it was no longer needed they kindly sent me a bill for...£500! So £500 for complete incompetence. Steer well clear
