Kingsfords was founded in the mid 1880s by Julius Kingsford and the firm’s development since that time was initially linked to the growth of Ashford and East Kent, but now our clients are based nationally across England and Wales and beyond. After my mother died I needed a solicitor to assist me with a Grant of Probate. I chose Kingsfords solicitors in Ashford and I’m jolly pleased I did!
Marcus Parsons and Michaela Clifford were extremely professional and diligent, keeping me updated with the process. They were also very helpful and always available to answer any questions I might have, which I drew great comfort from knowing I could phone them if I needed to.
I thank them for all their work and would not hesitate to appoint Marcus and his team at Kingsfords if I need a solicitor again.

Helen was excellent. In fact she was absolutely perfect. She provided me with a high level of service and represented me in court. She was very good at going through everything with me and providing me with clear advice. She made the legal process a lot easier for me than it could have been. Helen has been an absolute pleasure to work with. Helen went above and beyond, providing a better than first class service.
In our case the Local Authorities did not give us time to prepare and gave us documents at 7pm on a Friday night. This was no trouble for Helen who worked tirelessly over the weekend reading these documents and our statements we prepared to make sure she was ready for Monday.
Court is an extremely dark and difficult time, but Helen is the safety blanket that you need. She took the stress right out of the situation. She is highly knowledgeable and efficient.
You need her in your corner!

At Kingsfords we pride ourselves on not only being able to advise on specific matters but also to provide that general and pragmatic advice which is so often needed. We have two centrally located Ashford offices, as well as offices in both Cranbrook and Hythe. Our head office is ideally situated being close to the M20 and only a few minutes’ walk to Ashford International Railway Station with its fast links to London.
