Kingsfords is a long established highly reputable firm providing expertise in many areas of law both to commercial concerns and private individuals. Kingsfords was founded in the mid 1880s by Julius Kingsford and the firm’s development since that time was initially linked to the growth of Ashford and East Kent, but now our clients are based nationally across England and Wales and beyond. Kingsfords has developed both in response to and in anticipation of the needs of our clients and today, with over 50 staff, we are able to provide a wide range of services to both private and commercial clients. Our solicitor Helen Cojeen was incredibly sensitive and worked hard for us in and outside of court during difficult child care proceedings where my partner and I were assessed as special guardians. After my mother died I needed a solicitor to assist me with a Grant of Probate. I chose Kingsfords solicitors in Ashford and I’m jolly pleased I did!

Marcus Parsons and Michaela Clifford were extremely professional and diligent, keeping me updated with the process. They were also very helpful and always available to answer any questions I might have, which I drew great comfort from knowing I could phone them if I needed to.

I thank them for all their work and would not hesitate to appoint Marcus and his team at Kingsfords if I need a solicitor again.

Celia is an exceptional human being, and an incredibly valuable contact to us. She managed the conveyancing when my husband bought his last home, and after many changes on both the buying and selling sides (nothing due to her input) she has helped us across the finish line, and into our new lovely home. Celia is 'on it' - you can trust her completely that every minutiae is considered, and she is so very thorough in her work. She is quite happy to spend time explaining complex legal terminology in layman's terms, and helped us to feel empowered and updated throughout the process. I cannot stress the relief of being in such a safe pair of hands, and we can't thank Celia enough for her efforts and kindness that made such a difference to us.

We have two centrally located Ashford offices, as well as offices in both Cranbrook and Hythe. Our head office is ideally situated being close to the M20 and only a few minutes’ walk to Ashford International Railway Station with its fast links to London.
