Kingsfords was founded in the mid 1880s by Julius Kingsford and the firm’s development since that time was initially linked to the growth of Ashford and East Kent, but now our clients are based nationally across England and Wales and beyond. Kingsfords has developed both in response to and in anticipation of the needs of our clients and today, with over 50 staff, we are able to provide a wide range of services to both private and commercial clients. I was floundering with all the paperwork after my husband's death. Ms Sarah Geering and her secretary, Paula Whitewood dealt with my late husband's estate efficiently and with compassion. I felt I could ask Sarah a question or contact her by email and I was never made to feel a nuisance. I was given sensible advice and subsequently, my daughters and I had every confidence in asking Sarah to draft our wills.

We were involved in a family court case as interim carers for our niece whilst her mother sort to regain custody. Marian at Kingsford was really helpful in getting us through the legal side of proceedings. She was also caring and empathetic during some more difficult times. She helped us secure some funding from the local authority which was a huge help. In all our dealings with Kingsford, everyone was professional and friendly. Marian always took the time to talk us through the legal jargon and spell out what our options were at each stage. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

A first class service from knowledgeable and approachable professional

From our very first exploratory telephone call with Renee Hopper regarding the sale of our French property I felt confident that our needs were clearly understood and acknowledged. The help and guidance that we received from Mme Bassini and Ms Hopper left nothing to to chance with no assumptions being made about what we did or did not understand. Thanks to their willingness and expertise in communicating with the relevant officials, notaires, estate agents etc in France as well as organising the Power of Attorney the process was as stress-free for us as it could possibly be and for which we are eternally grateful.

. Excellent service throughout. Obtaining Probate was was very protracted because of very poor service from the Ministry of Justice (blamed on Covid), pressure was maintained and eventually paid off. Sale of the property was consequently delayed but was handled very professionally. Good comunications maintained for the whole period. Couteous, professional and sympathetic in all dealings. I have no hesitation in highly recommending Kingsfords.

We really appreciated all the hard work and dedication Kellie Darke, our solicitor, put into the sale of our house. Although the process was far from straightforward, Kellie was solution-focused every step of the way.

She always took the time to explain things clearly and offered practical advice whenever issues came up. Her ability to stay on top of everything and come up with solutions made a real difference and helped to ease a lot of the stress that naturally comes with selling a home.

Kellie was approachable, responsive, and genuinely supportive throughout – we always felt like she was in our corner, and that gave us so much peace of mind.

I used Kellie Darke ably assisted by Katy Langley to manage the conveyancing for my house purchase.

I was under a ridiculously tight t deadline to exchange and complete just before Christmas. Both Kellie and Katy were so very lovely, extremely knowledgeable, and couldn’t do enough to help me achieve this - coming off of holiday to chase things for me. I was fairly ignorant of the processes and at all times felt able to call, pop in and ask any questions in order to get this through.

I cannot thank them enough and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for help with conveyancing or similar.

We have recently asked Kingsford Solicitors, Cranbrook branch Kent to undertake all associated paperwork and correspondence to third parties on our behalf, for the sale of our late parents property. We met Kellie Darke and Katy when my sister and I dropped in to leave paperwork etc. We were very pleased with the whole process from start to finish.
