Notary of the Public

I had some papers which needed to be notarised and carried out a google search for a Notary of the Public in Bromley and the surrounding areas.

A total of 2 companies were short-listed in close proximity to my home and CWJ came in at a much more reasonable cost than the second firm and have to add the service was efficient and very professional.

CWJ explained the process of getting a document notarised (as this is priced per each 'document' which needs to be signed.

The whole process took est 30 minutes and was able to pay by card once the documents were notarised.

There are parking bays close to CWJ offices, but generally no free parking during working hours as far as I could see.

CWJ also offer other services from wills, inheritance tax planning, retirement planning, buying and selling houses and dealing with other family issues.

Very professional company/staff. Recommended and I would also use their services again.

We had a great experience working with the team at CWJ, particularly Karthiga Sangaralingam, throughout our property transaction. From start to finish, the communication was clear, prompt, and professional. Karthiga guided us through every step of the process with patience and attention to detail, making what could have been a stressful process feel smooth and manageable. We truly appreciated her responsiveness and dedication, and we felt well-supported at every stage.

We would happily recommend CWJ to anyone looking for reliable and efficient legal support in a property matter.

Notarial Service

I was delighted to find one agency in the heart of Orpington, Kent as I was desperate. A special power of attorney was required urgently in order for my Dad to sort out things from abroad. I was even nervous to contact CWJ because I have not done one in this country. I have done one previously but this was in our own embassy but now they do not have that service. Fortunately, when I emailed, Alis responded very on time, which was very encouraging. I called her and has made an appointment the closest I could have. Arrived at their office, the lady in the reception was very welcoming, met Alis who was very welcoming too! The place makes you relax but I cannot as I have never met a solicitor or someone with this kind of position. I don't know why but that was my feeling. Then I met Mr. Andrew and has said you looked nervous. Yes I said because my Dad wants the SPA ASAP. He actually calmed me down when we shook hands and explained my purpose. After that, he reassured that it wont be long you. We will let you go as soon as the reception have completed everything I waited for about 10 mins. Afterwards, Alis even directed me to post this via DHL only, the safest way, which I did. And today, it is already on my Dad's hands, just exactly in time! I am very grateful for all your assistance! Excellent service!

Following my recent conversation with Christa on May 29th at 9:54 AM regarding the price for a deed of variation, I cannot accept your offer of an initial consultation with a partner at £400 per hour or the quote of £500 to £1,000 for the variation.
I consider it opportunistic exploitation and excessive for a relatively simple task.
Lawhive provided a free telephone consultation and a fixed price of £479.

Clarkson Wright and Jakes represented me last year for the sale of my property in Kent and I was so impressed with them that I requested their services again when I was ready to purchase my new home in Shropshire more recently.

Leah Noyes and her support team were professional and thorough throughout the whole conveyancing process.  They were quick to respond to my queries and they made sure that every detail was covered before advising exchange and completion on my purchase. I have no hesitation in recommending this firm. They were five star in their service.

CWJ dealt with the sale of my late mother’s house. Cost was accurate and I was kept informed every step of the way as to what stage we were at.
Chireen Miller did the conveyancing and I would definitely use her again if I needed to.
Sarah Cheeseman from the legal team was also very helpful.

After not getting much help elsewhere for an ID1 Form, I reached out to Clarkson Wright & Jakes Notaries who were really helpful despite it being a quick, off service and were able to help me complete the form with a friendly and approachable manner. Thank you Alis and Andrew.
