I used Battens to both sell a property and work on my behalf for Capital Gains tax which was due as a result of selling this property.

Whilst dealing with two separate individuals in Battens for these two different requirements. I found both persons that I dealt with, were very professional, easy to work with and very customer focused.
No issue was to much trouble and they explained all the steps we had to go through in a clear and precise manor.

I would certainly use Battens again even though I don't live local to any of their office locations and would certainly recommend them to any friends or family who may also be looking for some sort of legal services.

Probate of my late father’s estate

The whole experience was fully explained by the solicitor and this was a great benefit to me during quite an emotional time in my life. All relevant points raised were covered clearly & succinctly by Sam Backler. She was very pleasant and easy to communicate with, and kindly arranged Teams meeting link for an elder sibling who lived in Belgium. An administrative error was made resulting in several months delay in receiving the bill unfortunately.

A great team

We recently used Battens Solicitors in the selling of one house and the buying of another. There was an extremely tight deadline and they worked tirelessly to get the sale through on time. Communication was great - consistent, professional and friendly. The handwritten Christmas cards from the teams were a really lovely touch. We would definitely recommend Battens to friends and family and would use them again in the future.

As a first-time buyer, the process of purchasing a home felt overwhelming, but working with Naomi at Battens made everything so much easier. From start to finish, their team was professional, efficient, and incredibly supportive.

I used Battens Yeovil conveyance team for a recent house purchase. Tina and Cathy were a dream to work with. They kept me in the picture at all times, answered any query I had very quickly and helped keep the stress level to a minimum. This is the second time I have used Battens for a house move (first time many years ago) and would absolutely use them again. Very highly recommended for service, efficiency and value.

I've been using Battens for 36 years and was the frst client of their employment service which is absolutely excellent. For a fixed price and an insurance they cover all my employment procedures and problems with telephone advice, drafting and I think it includes all court costs though we've not had to go there! Also included is a regular lunchtime seminar to update and give tips. I also use their agricultural side which likewise is excellent and from time to time their litigation side which, so too, is very good. What more can I say.
