Raj Vardhan Choubey & Toufique Hossain – Duncan Lewis Solicitors

Review for Raj Vardhan Choubey – Duncan Lewis Solicitors

I had the privilege of referring a close friend of mine to Duncan Lewis Solicitors, and I cannot express enough how much gratitude we feel toward Raj Vardhan Choubey, the solicitor who handled his case. The journey was incredibly challenging, given the circumstances, but Raj’s dedication, professionalism, and compassion made a huge difference.

My friend, who has been through immense physical and emotional suffering, was facing a fast-approaching Home Office interview, with only days to prepare and no statement to present. Despite the pressure and urgency, Raj worked tirelessly, offering to apply for an extension to account for my friend’s severe health issues. However, my friend chose to proceed without the extension, and Raj went above and beyond to ensure everything was in place in time. He was working late into the night—one email from him was at 4 AM—to get the necessary documentation ready. It was clear that he was fully committed to achieving the best possible outcome, even under the most difficult of circumstances.

The speed and efficiency with which Raj handled everything were exceptional. All documents were processed swiftly, and the quality of communication was outstanding. Raj maintained constant contact, whether through emails or phone calls, keeping both of us informed at every stage. When the Home Office interview took place, Raj made sure to check in with us afterwards to ensure everything went smoothly and to offer continued support.

What also stood out was the involvement of Toufique Hossain, Raj’s supervisor and Director at Duncan Lewis. From the outset, Toufique personally contacted me to discuss the situation and showed genuine compassion for what my friend had experienced. He worked hard to ensure my friend was allocated to a solicitor quickly, and stayed involved throughout, checking in and offering support. He too sent his congratulations when the Humanitarian Protection was granted, and his kindness and care were deeply felt.

On the day we received the positive result—Humanitarian Protection—Raj was genuinely overjoyed for my friend. He promptly scheduled a video call to walk us through the Home Office documentation, explaining everything clearly and with such kindness and patience. He also took care of all necessary follow-up actions, including correcting a discrepancy with the person’s recorded date of birth with the Home Office.

Throughout the process, Raj was an absolute professional. He was always courteous, well-prepared, and extremely knowledgeable, making it clear that he had full control of the case. Despite the challenges we faced, including language barriers and technical difficulties, Raj remained calm, patient, and understanding, providing the highest standard of service at all times.

It was evident from the start that Raj genuinely cared about my friend’s situation. His professionalism was paired with a level of empathy and attention to detail that made all the difference. The support of both Raj and his supervisor, Toufique Hossain, was invaluable, and I could not have asked for a better team to handle this case.

Thanks to Raj’s hard work, my friend now has a chance to rebuild his life in safety, free from the fear of the unknown. The result of this case is truly life-changing, and it is a privilege to have been part of this process with such a dedicated, skilled, and compassionate solicitor by our side.

I wholeheartedly recommend Raj Vardhan Choubey and Duncan Lewis Solicitors to anyone in need of expert legal advice and representation. You can trust that you are in the hands of professionals who will treat your case with the utmost care and commitment.

irresponsible solicitors

I am currently a client of these.
This company has the worst and irresponsible solicitors I have ever seen.
They charged me over £7,500 for a Spouse Visa.
I paid less than £5000 for visa fees and IHS but over £7500 for solicitor.
I signed a contract with a solicitor , but my process was handled by a Trainee Solicitor and my visa was refuse due to insufficient information the trainee.
First they charged me £3000 for my Spouse Visa and visa was rejected for their mistake (trainee didn't added Couple photos)
Second they charged me £3,500 + £140 for the appeal.
They took this process for more than a year and they still say it will take about 7 more months and we charge you around £1000 more for barrister.
When they need money, they contact me up to ten times a day, but after that they don't answer my calls or emails up to two months.
l never recommend this company to somebody else.
