Moving Home

The sale and purchase of a new home is naturally an important life milestone, and it is one we could not have achieved without Gemma’s help. Her knowledge, advise, availability, punctuality; relentless chasing of other parties, and calming presence ensured that this move happened as smoothly as possible. Gemma was our voice of reassurance, and gave us stability as we navigated this journey. We would without question recommend Gemma’s expertise to others and definitely would want to work with her again in the future. Could not rate her highly enough, and again just a massive thank you Gemma!

Representation by Stephanie Grieve

Steph and aimee have represented me for almost a year in what has been a very messy, very challenging case. Steph has been tenacious in her pursuit to achieve the best possible outcome. With Steph having a background serving in the military she understood the impact the cases were having not only on my work but also my future work. She understood my concerns and represented these in court. She has gone above and beyond at every point. Been transparent and provided reassurance when she was able. All in all Steph and aimee. have been fantastic and I dont think id have managed to get through the last 12 months without her representing me. Aimee has taken time to listen and see where she could help, along with getting information to steph so she could make calls or challenge things for me. I feel like they have taken every step possible to make sure I was represented correctly. I genuinely felt at every hearing steph was backing me. I hope to never be in a position like this again but if I was id hope that I could have her represent me. I trust her implicitly to get the best for me. Aimee worked tirelessly also to make sure that everything was up to date and that any concerns i had were spoken about. Both of them are an absolute credit to the firm. Both are knowledgeable and both have ensured that I have had the best possible representation throughout. Steph always gives sensible advise along with making sure I wasnt over paying. Steph had confacts to help aid the cases and also gave sound advise in police interviews.

Both have listened when they didn't need to. They didn't just push it aside or ignore the impact this had on welfare. Whilst they are there to do a professional job they also have a very compassionate approach when needed.

Smooth Process, But Disappointed by Unexpected Communication Charges

My experience throughout the process was very smooth and timely, and I appreciated the efficient handling of matters as they progressed.

However, I was disappointed to discover upon receiving my invoice that I was being charged—albeit at a discounted rate—for every email sent to me. This felt like a misuse of what I assumed was standard professional communication. I had understood these messages to be part of the service, as they are with most other professional roles.

To be charged for routine emails that I believed were simply part of good, clear communication was surprising and, frankly, disappointing. It’s akin to being charged by a supermarket employee for telling you where the milk is, or by your bank for notifying you of a transaction. This approach felt excessive and undermined what was otherwise a very positive experience.

I would highly recommend Scullion law for road traffic offences.
I opted for the director service, working with Kris Buchanan.
He's highly professional, a master at His profession.
Always available to answer any questions.
I was charged with driving without insurance
He got me the best result I could have hoped for, and without me having to set foot in a court room.
The crown were persuaded by Kris to treat the matter as “Not Called”
Couldn't recommended him any higher!
Thanks Kris

Had a situation where I failed to provide a breath sample to the police. Came to scullion law and went for Kris Buchanan. He was absolutely brilliant and managed to find small details within my case and worked very hard which led to me keeping my license. This was done with very little defence and only one witness. He is very experienced and knew how to deal with the judge and explained exactly how the process would go in a clear manner and kept me very calm. I managed to get the best outcome for myself on the day. Would definitely recommend.

I needed a solicitor that had experience dealing with funds coming from abroad for a cash buy and Scullion Law provided this. It’s a long process but it was made possible and I am very pleased with the service provided.
