We all know what to do when we have a car accident but when you get knocked off your bicycle by a car it is not so straightforward. My first call was to my house contents insurers. I took out the legal cover extra. Swinton Insurance were great and passed me on to Slater & Gordon. I quickly outlined my case and they took over. They asked for a list of my expenses as a result of the accident and put me in touch with a physiotherapist and councillor (CBT) when needed. The case was handled very professionally, contacting the other party's insurers until an offer was made for compensation. I was guided through every stage by Slater & Gordon's excellent staff until a conclusion was reached.
If you have a similar incident or for anything legal I would always recommend them.

After an accident in Dec 21, I suffered a broken arm. Some weeks later I enquired with Usdaw union as to whether I was entitled to a personal injury claim. They processed my claim which was then handed over to Slater & Gordon to handle for me.
Although it seemed to take some time, especially initially whist locating the defendant, I was regularly updated and kept informed of progress. All forms etc were easily completed via email and my medical appointment was held at a convenient location too.
The regular updates, even when there was not much to report, kept me reassured that my case was progressing. Anytime I had a query, particularly once I knew my case was going to court, I would receive prompt replies, clearly explaining everything.
I felt confident in following their advice and ultimately they achieved an outcome that I was very satisfied with.

I am doing this review on behalf of my dad as he does not have access to the Internet and he is to ill to do this.
Rachael gooding has been absolutely superb all the way through with my dad along side another solicitor working on a personal case for the same company Slater and Gordon. Rachael has gone above and beyond to ensure my dad has his final wishes met in his last will and testament and even visited the home address to have the will signed. My dad has asked me to pass on his gratitude and is very thankful for how quick you assisted him knowing he is on end of life treatment and that he was deteriorating rapidly. We cannot thank you enough for your help.
An absolute superb solicitor and I will recommend anyone wishing to make a will to contact Rachael as I will be doing in the near future. If anything my dad being diagnosed with cancer and seeing how quick he has deteriorated has put things into perspective for me with my family.

I recently worked with Rachael Gooding from Slater and Gordon on a probate application and was impressed with the level of professionalism and support provided throughout what can often be a complex and emotionally difficult process.
